When running the FAR680 the following error message appears on some transactions (specifically AMEX)
New Request Submitted. Received response from VERISIGN. Transaction Response Code : Invalid account number: 10535-This transaction cannot be processed. Please enter a valid credit card number and type
Error Code: 23
After submitting a ticket to PayPal, they recommended the following troubleshooting steps.
- Please log into your PayPal account.
- Once there, please navigate to your Payment Receiving Preferences in your PayPal account https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=%5fprofile%2dpref&rc2_eligible=yes and once there, ensure that you have the "Account Updater" toggled to the on position.
- Once updated, please reattempt your reference transactions for the AMEX cards and advise of the results.
