Accessing Reports in Personify
There are four (4) types of reports available in Personify:
Batch reports – Produce physical reports or perform processes. Personify stores these reports on the database.
To access Batch Reports, click on Run a Batch/TRS Job from the home screen.
Online/Operational reports – Run on the server but are initiated by opening the screen for which users want to view a report and selecting Reports > Operational Reports from the menu bar. Users can run screen-related online reports by selecting the Reports task category on any screen and clicking the appropriate report.
To access Online/Operational Reports, from the home menu, click on Online Report Submission.
Web Intelligence (Webi) reports – Create and view custom or on-the-fly reports using this third-party tool from Business Objects. Web Intelligence is integrated with Data Analyzer and Personify, with Webi reports running against universes.
To access Online/Operational Reports, from the home menu, click on Open Data Analyzer.
Crystal reports – Create reports that run against the database (not universes). Although Crystal Reports is a BusinessObjects tool, it is the base reporting tool that is used in Personify. It is integrated into the Personify application so users can quickly and easily access reports using Personify database data.
