Customer Quick View Components

Customer information such as a constituent’s committee involvement, membership, program/sections involvement, and primary contact information will display within the Quick View screen.

To read the customer Quick View components:

  1. The following components of the details screen are viewable to users.
    1. Customer ID:  The master customer ID and the AOA Member ID number for the constituent.
    2. Last First Name:  Is the name of the constituent formatted by their last name followed by the first name
    3. Membership Begin/End Dates:  The dates the current membership begins and ends for the current membership cycle.
    4. Product Code:  The code is the membership type for the constituent.  For more information about constituent membership types, check out this knowledge base article.
    5. Rate Code:  The rate code for a membership determines the price level.  Rates can vary for membership products (e.g. Ascending 1, Student, Post Graduate Year 1, etc.)

  1. Constituents Program and Section involvement is displayed as read-only checkboxes on the right side of the screen.  These indicate the provider’s involvement with the InfantSee® program, VisionUSA program, and if they are a Contact Lens and Cornea Section member.
  2. Click the Edit Customer button to open the CRM360® record for the provider.

  1. Individuals who are Deceased show a text box which indicates this in the details section.  This is in the Customer Status box.
  2. Individuals who are not current members of the AOA will show Not Current Member in the Product Code field.

  1. Individuals who are members of the AOA yet their membership has been suspended will appear in the Quick View screen.  The Product Code field will indicate SUSPENDED.

  1. Contact Information for the individual will appear within the Details section of the screen.  This will include the addresses on file as well as indicate which address is the Ship-to Address.
  2. Additional contact and demographic data will appear below the address grid.  This will include the following:
    1. Home Phone:  The phone number indicated with a location of home.
    2. Work Phone:  The phone number indicated with a location of work.
    3. Primary Email:  The primary email address on file for that constituent.
    4. Last Updated:  The last time the primary email address was updated.
    5. SSO Web User ID:  The ID/Username the constituent uses to login to the AOA website to view member protected content, purchase items from the marketplace, and update their MyAOA profile.
    6. Birth Date:  The date of birth we have on file for the constituent.
    7. Gender:  The indicated gender we have on file for the constituent.

  1. A constituent’s committee involvement is displayed on the Quick View screen.  This will include the Begin Date and End Date of their involvement.
