Processing a Refund to Check

When you have your batch open, you’re ready to process the refund on the non-mirrored order. This is typically from a meeting registration or another non-mirrored product. Processing a refund is the same. However, you ALWAYS want to refund to check.

To process a refund to check:

1.    Open the non-mirrored order which needs a refund.

Note: If you have not cancelled the order to leave a credit on the order, please do so first before continuing with the next steps.

2.    From the screen task Work with Orders, click the Request a Refund. The Cancellation & Refund Control screen will appear.

3.    Click on the Refund to Specific Credit Card Receipt tab if the individual paid by credit card.

4.    Click the Refund by Check checkbox. This will prevent the refund from the process through the CCP610 and refunding amount back to the credit card.

5.    Click the Process button to process the refund.

Note: If the constituent did not pay by credit card, you do not need to check this box.
