Relationships with Linked Addresses
When adding an employment relationship it is important that
we add the linked address. This does the following:

Binds the employer to the employee via the relationship

Creates the address for the employee from the employer

Allows the address from the employer to be updated and
automatically update on the employee’s record.
Paraoptometric relationships require a linked address.
However, this linked address is driven off the doctor. The doctor has the employment
and linked address of that employer. The Paraoptometric has the paraoptometric
relationship with the doctor. When using the Online Staff Management Tool, the
doctor looks at the linked addresses attached via the employment relationships
and assigns the related Paraoptometric to a specific location.
Both the employment & paraoptometric relationships
require this linked address. This keeps records current and up to date. When
adding a business address to a doctor’s profile, it is important to create the
linked address and employment record.
