Do Not Solicit – Specific Forms of Communication
Some individuals request not to be contacted via specific
forms of communication. This would include being placed on a do not call or do
not mail list. These requests can be handled specifically for that
individual’s communication preferences. For example, a constituent may request
that no mail be sent but continue to receive newsletters via email. This would
be an instance where the constituent address communications would be marked as
do not solicit, where the email address would remain untouched.
