Phone & Email
Individuals may request to not be emailed, or contacted by
phone. This information can be updated via the communication type. From the
wrench icon
a drop down menu will appear.

Options include the following for both Phone & Email
solicitations. They include:
·
Do Not Solicit by Phone/Email
·
Do Not Allow System Notifications
Do Not Solicit by Phone/Email
The Do Not Solicit flag on a communication of Phone
or Email will remove the phone and/or email information when printing an external
phone or email communication list.
Note: Currently the AOA is not
using Phone Lists at this time. It is however important to gather this
information should a constituent request not to be solicited via phone.
However, on reports and extracts from Personify, constituent phone data could
be removed.
Note: Once updated, the Do Not
Solicit flag will appear next to the communication type.

Do Not Allow System Notifications
Personify allows notifications to be sent via Mobile (text)
as well as via email. These notifications are an important part of Personify
and it is recommended that they are not turned off. Some of the items that are
dispersed via notifications include:
·
Payment Notification
·
Order Notification
·
Shipping Notification
·
Meeting Confirmation
These alerts allow for constituents be updated when certain
actions are taken in Personify. Please be aware when working with a
constituent who has requested not to receive these notifications via text or
via email, they may miss out on certain pieces of communications which can be
important to orders and constituents. Making sure the constituent is aware of
how notifications will be impacted is important.
Note: There is no indication when
a phone or email record has been flagged to not receive Notifications.
Phone Specific Solicitation Rules
Personify allows phone numbers to be marked as Do Not
Call. This feature would allow a constituent to specify which phone number
they do not wish to be contacted. For example, a doctor may specify that he
can be called on his mobile or work numbers; however, he should not be
contacted on his home phone number. We would still track this information;
however update the phone number to be added to the Do Not Call Registry.
To update this information for a phone record, locate the
wrench tool
located next to the phone number to be
updated. A drop down menu will appear and select, Add to Do-Not-Call
Registry.

Once updated the record will indicate the phone number is on
the Do Not Call Registry and will indicate in the header if marked as primary
