Defining Shipping Charges by Price
Priced based shipping
calculations are calculated at the line level based upon the percentage of
price and are NOT prorated like other calculated methods. See the example
below. The price for shipping in the order below is 5% of the line price.
Therefore each item is assessed its own shipping cost based upon the price of
the individual item.

From the
screen task category Define Shipping Charges, click on the screen task Simple
by Price.

- In the Define
Simple Charges by Percent of Price section, click on the add button.

- Update the Change
Detail information.
- Select a Begin
Date if needed. The begin date will default to today.
- Update the Base
Ship Amount. This is the minimum shipping amount that will be charged
regardless of product weight or price.
- Enter the Percentage
Price for Shipping. This is the percentage of the order total
applied.
- Enter an End
Date if needed.

- Save
any
changes made to the shipping method.
