Many products are related to authors, publishers, vendors,
product managers, etc. This information is searchable by both Web Users as
well as order entry operators. For instance, you might use this feature to see
all products sold by a specific vendor or authored by a specific person.
From Product Central either search or create a new
inventoried product. Under the Relationships screen task category,
click the Related Customers screen task. The Product Maintenance |
Related Customers screen will appear.

1. To add a new
customer relationship, click on the Add Relationship button in the
Related Customers section. The customer chooser will appear to search for the
constituent that is related to the product. Continue by entering the Customer
Relationship Details information as well.
a. Relationship
Type: Drop down defines the relationship type, for example, a speaker,
author, vendor, product manager, etc. Values can be edited and created.
b. Status:
Drop down that defines the status of the relationship, such as assigned,
confirmed, or invited, etc. Values can be edited and created.

Add any additional relationships as needed to the product, and then save
any changes when finished.
