Drop Processing Due to Transfer

Members will drop should they be moving or transferring to another state.  If the member has indicated that, they are dropping due to a move or transfer, please continue with the following steps.

1.    Log into the organization, which the member is transferring.  If the organization is unknown, transfer the member to the Unknown Affiliate.

2.    To create add a membership product to an order; from the Order Entry search screen, search for the appropriate customer and click Create New Order.

3.    Add a master membership product to the order using one of the following ways:

a.    The Identify Products Here section

 

                                          i.    Click Add a Line Item.

                                         ii.    Click the Product Code link to search for a Membership Product.  The Choose Product screen displays.

                                        iii.    Search for a membership product and double-click the appropriate product.

b.    The Product Research tab

                                          i.    Expand the All Products category.

                                         ii.    Expand the Membership category.

                                        iii.    Select the checkbox next to the appropriate product.

                                       iv.    Click Create Order/Gift.

4.    The Rate Structure and Rate Code values default based on the customer’s status and apply to the highlighted line item in the Order Detail section.  Rate codes can be changed for one year, two year, or other special rates, as set up by the association when creating the membership product.  If necessary, change these values.

5.    Click Save.

When a member will transfer to a known or unknown affiliate, the AOA and affiliates can then notate this information so that the membership team can recruit.  We notate this in a part of our list demographics.  The transfer process is still the same, however once the transfer is complete, the next steps need to be followed.

6.    View the CRM360 Screen for the constituent users are working with.  Click on the Constituent Preferences screen task and then Lists.

7.    Click on the Add button in the center on the left side of the Lists screen.

8.    Choose Pending Affiliate Transfer from the drop down menu.

9.    Select the state of transfer.

10.  Enter comments below as needed.

11.  Click the Save  before returning to the Main Page.

12.  On the product specifics tab, update the Status Change Reason to be ‘Transfer’.

13.  Update Begin Date to be the day after transfer (TODAY) and click Save
