Transferring a Receipt

Receipt Transfer is a one-off process of manually transferring a portion of a receipt to an order and line. 

Note:  It is important to know the ID number or Order number of the member users wish to transfer the receipt to PRIOR to completing the steps below.

From the Customer Financial Analysis screen, select the appropriate line item from the Order and Transaction Analysis, Receipt Analysis, or Unapplied Receipt tab and click Transfer Balance.

  1. Click the drop down for the receipt type transfer and choose Line.

  1. Chose the correct order on the left side of the screen.

  1. Click on the Order Number hyperlink to search for the order or member users wish to transfer the reciept to.

  1. Users have the option to search by any of the criteria.  Please enter either the Order Number of Ship Customer ID, which was gathered earlier.

  1. Click the Search button after entering the information above.
  2. Left mouse click to highlight and then double click to select the order users wish to transfer the receipt to.

  1. Select the Line users wish to transfer the receipt to.  This needs to be selected so a weighted amount can be transferred to both Line 1 (Dues) and Line 2 (PR)
  2. Enter the amount users wish to transfer.  By default the entire amount of the receipt will populate therefore, it must be changed.
  3. Click on the Complete Transfer button.

  1. Steps 8 through 15 are then repeated for the additional lines.
  2. Click the Save button on the Order Financial Analysis screen.

  1. Close all screens and search for the member’s order users transferred the receipt to.  Users can see the payment amount listed on the order and even view the transaction detail of the receipt transfer if needed.
