Defining Product Components

When adding product components, please keep in mind that components are always $0.  Any product can be added as a component with the exception of Packages.  A common meeting component might be merchandise such as a tote bag or promotional item.  If revenue needs to be generated off that product, they should be created as a package and then priced at a package level.  To create a component product to accompany the meeting product, click Define Components from the Define the Product screen task category.

  1. Click on the Add Component button.

  1. Search/Select the product you wish to include.

 

 

  1. Enter the Quantity of the product to be added.
  2. Enter the Rate Structure and Rate Code.
