General Product Setup for Sessions

The difference between sessions and meetings are the Product Type.  When selecting a product type for a breakout session/social event, you will need to choose it appropriately.

  1. NOTE:  The Product Code will want to start with the same code as the parent code.  This is followed with an underscore and then the rest of the code.  See the example.
  2. NOTE:  The Product Name will follow the naming convention:

Grid# - Description – Start Time to End Time – Room

  1. NOTE:  The Product Type MUST be set to “Break-out Session”.  See the example.
  2. NOTE:  The Product Class will differ based upon if you want the attendee to be able to register for two sessions, which occur at the same time.

-          Break Out Session – Cannot schedule more than one session in a time slot.

-          Social Event – Can schedule more than one session in a time slot.
