Miscellaneous CPC Products & Orders

The AOA has set up miscellaneous CPC (Commission on Paraoptometric Certification) products for the Education Center. These products include certificates, lapel pins, and CPC continuing education course reviews as a service. Certified paraoptometrics engage with the CPC via an online form to pre-pay and purchase pins and certificates should they qualify. These pre-settled credit card payments are processed with other deferred payments. The CPC continuing education course review allows for organizations to submit continuing education for review. Personify orders are created, and invoices are generated for collections.

Creating an order for a Miscellaneous CPC Product:

  1. Locate the constituent record in CRM360® and use the Order screen task from the Quick Create screen task menu. The Order Entry Screen will open in a new screen tab for the constituent.

  1. From the Product Research tab, click expand triangle next to All Products; click and highlight Miscellaneous to expand this subcategory of products.
  2. Check the box next to the products you want to add to the order.
  3. Click Create Order/Gift and Personify will create product order lines as needed.

  1. Click Save to save your progress before making changes or taking payment for the order you just created.

 


Changes to CE Review Orders

When organizations submit continuing education for the Commission on Paraoptometric Certification to review, a few more changes to the order need to happen. For example, pricing is different for associations that are affiliated with the American Optometric Association. Personify will manage the price of a product using the rate code.

  1. Click and highlight the first line of your CE Review order. This will typically be line 1 and read CPC CE Review Service.
  2. Locate the Rate Code drop-down from the product information section of the screen. Change the rate code as needed from standard to affiliate rate.
  3. Use your Tab key to see changes take effect. Changes to the unit price, line totals, and balance will happen automatically.

  1. Click and highlight the second line of the CE Review package. This is the number of credit hours to be reviewed.
  2. Use the Quantity field to update the number of credit hours reviewed.
  3. Use your Tab key to see changes take effect. Changes to the unit price, line totals, and balance will happen automatically.

  1. Click and highlight the third line of the CE Review package.
  2. Update the Unit Price with any late fee that may apply. Alternatively, if no late fee applies, click the Delete a Line button to remove the Fee altogether.

  1. Click Save to save your progress before making changes or taking payment for the order you just modified.
