Company
The company demographics hold data which is specific to the company and or practice of record.
1. Customer Class: Select from the drop down the classification of the company. The AOA supports the following company constituent classifications:

An organization officially attached to the American Optometric Association (AOA)

Association
|
A group of people or organizations organized for a joint person. Any association of the AOA should be identified as an AOA Affiliate NOT an Association.

Charity
|
An organization set up to provide help and raise money for those in need.
|
|
Clinic
|
A place or hospital department where outpatients are given medical treatment or advice, especially of a specialist nature.
|
|
Company
|
A company or group of people authorized to act as a single entity and recognized as such in law.
|
|
Educational Institution
|
A place where people of different ages gain an education, including preschools, childcare, elementary schools, and universities. This does not include Optometry Schools.
|
|
Facility
|
A space provided for singular events, business conferences, and meetings. They are commonly found in large hotels, conference centers, and other establishments.
|
Government Entity
|
An entity which is closely affiliated, generally by government ownership or control, with federal, state, and local governments.
|
Hospital
|
An institution providing medical and surgical treatment and nursing care for sick or injured people.
|
Media
|
An entity which provides the main means of mass communication such as television, radio, newspapers, and the Internet.

Optometry School
|
An educational institution which has been accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE).
|
Practice
|
The business or premises of a doctor or lawyer.
|
Society
|
An organization or club formed for a particular purpose or activity.
|
Supplier
|
An entity that is the source of goods or services.
|

2. Staff Range: Currently the AOA is not tracking the staff range of company profiles at this time. This will be a feature released in the future.
3. Customer Status: Customer status indicates the status of the individual within the Personify database. This has no bearing on membership status. The following customer statuses are available from the drop down:
a. Active: Records are currently searchable and available to view/make changes on in the system.
b. Duplicate: Individuals who have been merged through the duplicate verification process will have a status of Duplicate. This will also be indicated in the CRM360 Header.

Note: Constituents cannot be marked as duplicate manually. This can only be marked as such using the Duplicate Verification process. If you need to mark a record as duplicate, please report the duplicate pair through the AOA Service Catalog.
c. Inactive: Records are currently unavailable and no longer are viewable or changeable.
4. Status Date: The status date is set to the date which the customer was created, or the last time the customer’s status was updated in the system.

5. Insurance: The AOA will allow company records to update the insurances accepted at a practicing location. These insurances can be added and updated through the MyAOA profile on the AOA website or through the back office of Personify. To add an accepted insurance company, click the Add button above the Insurance title bar. A new row will appear in the data grid. Select from the drop down the insurance company accepted.

6. Practice Services: The AOA will allow practices to update the practice services offered at a practicing location. These services can be added and updated through the MyAOA profile on the AOA website or through the back office of Personify. To add a practice service, click the Add button above the Services title bar. A new row will appear in the data grid. Select from the drop down the service offered.

7. Office Hours: Office hours can be added to constituent records with a company constituent type. This is done through a series of drop menus for the corresponding columns in the data grid. Click the Add button to add a new row to the data grid. Then choose from the following options in the drop down menus.
a. Work Day: Choose a day of the week from the drop down menu.
b. Open Hour: Chose the hour in which the business will be open for the day.
c. Open Minute: Chose the minute in which the business will be open for the day. Options available are in increments of 15 minutes.
d. Open AM/PM: Chose the AM/PM in which the business will be open for the day.
e. Close Hour: Chose the hour in which the business will be closed for the da.
f. Close Minute: Choose the minute in which the business will be closed for the day. Options available are in increments of 15 minutes.
g. Close AM/PM: Chose the AM/PM in which the business will be closed for the day.
h. Office Status: Select from the drop down whether the office will be Open, Closed, or Open By Appointment Only.
