Corporate
Relationships
The AOA tracks relationships between companies. These
relationships can be hierarchical, such as a corporate entity (parent) and a
subsidiary, or can be lateral, such as two competitor companies or companies
within the same family.
To create a corporate relationship:
1. Open
the CRM360 screen for either company. Use the relationships number
hyperlink or the All Relationships screen task from the Relationships
screen task category.

2. Use
the Add hyperlink to create a new relationship. To edit an
existing relationship, double click on one of the relationships in the data
grid. The Edit Relationship Detail screen will open.

3. In
the This Constituent section, select ‘Corporate’ from the Type of
Relationship drop down menu.
4. Select
a Role from the drop down menu.

5. From
the Is Related to this Constituent section, click on the Related Constituent
hyperlink. This will open the customer chooser.

6. Search
for the related constituent in the customer chooser. To select a
constituent from the list, double click on the line.

7. Verify
Name, Is related as a(n), and Begin
Date fields are filled in accurately.
Note: If the Begin Date is not known, or the begin date is
PRIOR to the conversion to Personify, use the date of 1/1/2000
8. Update
the End Date as needed if the relationship has terminated.
9. Click
the Save button to save the changes made to the relationship. The
Edit Relationship Detail screen will automatically close and the relationships
grid will automatically update.
