This batch process fetches all backorders and checks for
sufficient inventory and updates the order lines status back to Active so they
can be processed by the INV620. Inventory counts are updated during this process
as well.
Note: If an order has a
backordered amount of 15 items and the inventory is updated to 10. The INV635
will update the order with one line of 10 active and 5 backordered.
1.
From the home page in the Analytics section, use the Run a Batch/TRS job
button.
2. Select from the
User Setups sections, select the INV635_A job.
3. Update the Run
mode:
a. EDIT:
Edit mode allows the user to preview the lines updated without affecting the
line status.
b. PROD:
Prod mod updates the line status and generates the report.
4.
Click the Submit to TRS Server screen task from the TRS Task
category.
