Related Products
We can associate an active
meeting product with other products in the system based upon its relationship
type. To setup a related product, click on Related Products from the Relationships
screen task category.
- Click on the Add
Related Product button to the right.
- Choose the Relationship
Type from the drop down menu

Cross-Sell – The active product and the product
defined as a cross sell would complement each other. During the process of
order entry, the staff may mention the related product to increase product
sales.

Prerequisite – The order history of the ship-to
customer must include this prerequisite related product before the meeting product
can be purchased.

Prerequisite Or – Used to identify a set of items,
any of which will qualify for the prerequisite requirement.

Required – The active order of this product must
also include a purchase of another product on the same order.

Substitute - The active product and the product
defined in the relationship can substitute for one another. For example, if a
constituent isn’t interested in one session, a substitute product can be
offered.

Up-Sell – Similar to the cross-sell the point of
this relationship is to increase the revenue and sell the constituent a
different product. For example having an individual purchase one meeting
product, the upsell will allow the individual possible purchase something else
to generate more revenue.
- Click on the Product
hyperlink.

- From the search
screen, locate the related product.

- Select a Valid
From & Valid Thru date.
- Click on the Add
button from the Related Product Description area.
- Click on the Edit
Description to edit the cross-sell product description.

- Save
the relationship.
