Save an email to a contact tracking record in personify
Preface
The personify outlook plugin allows you to upload emails directly to a customers Contact tracking record.
Prerequisites
You will need to have the personify outlook plugin installed on your computer as well as have it configured with the correct Web URI. You will also need credentials to log in to the personify production environment
Procedure
1. Select or open the email that you wish to upload in outlook


2. Once you have the email open/ selected look to the “Personify Actions” section in that taskbar above.

3. Select the Topic of the email communication

4. Select the Subject of your email communication

5. If you would like to assign the email communication or a task to a specific Staff member then you can select their name from the drop down here.

6. If you would like for this communication to be marked as completed in personify, then check the “resolved” checkbox.

7. If you would like to keep the Contact tracking record private, check the Private checkbox.

8. There are two ways to save the email as a tracking record once you have completed the above tasks
a. If you want to add the email to the contact tracking record for everyone involved in the email chain including the sender, click “Save”

b. If you want to selectively choose who’s record are added or add it to the record of someone who was not involved
i. click “Select Save”

ii. Select from checkboxes next to the names of anyone you want to add

iii. To add someone who wasn’t involved in the email chain, add their email address to the “Other(s)” box
