Adding New Committee Members

There is no limit on the number of members that can be added to a committee.

Note:  When assigning a committee structure that is enforced, limitations will be placed when adding to a committee.  If no structure is applied then limitations will be lifted.

1.       To add a new committee member; from the Committee Members tab, click Add New Member.  The Customer Chooser displays.  Users can utilize the screen task, Maintain Committee Membership.

2.       Search for and select the appropriate customer.  The Committee Member Details screen displays.

3.       By default, the Begin Date is set to today. If necessary, select a different date from the drop-down.

4.       Select the committee Position from the drop-down.

5.       If necessary, select the End Date from the drop-down.

6.       Select the Participation Status from the drop-down.

7.       Select the Voting Status from the drop-down.

8.       If necessary, click the Represents link to search for who the customer will represent.

9.       If necessary, enter any Comments.

10.   Some AOA committee members are assigned to visit state affiliates. Authorized staff enter this information.

11.   Some AOA committee members are required to submit an Acknowledgment Form as a condition of service. Authorized staff confirm receipt of this form by checking this checkbox.

12.   Some AOA committee members are required to submit a Beneficiary Form as a condition of service. Authorized staff confirm receipt of this form by checking this checkbox.

13.   Some AOA committee members are required to submit a Conflict of Interest Form as a condition of service. Authorized staff confirm receipt of this form by checking this checkbox.

14.   Click Save.

Note: The Committee Membership Report in Data Analyzer includes columns showing who has submitted Acknowledgement, Beneficiary, and Conflict of Interest forms.
