The purpose of this request is to alert the Research & Information Center (RIC) about a need to obtain data or analytics for projects, policy initiatives, legislative efforts, publications, or any other channel in which data will be communicated or shared to support association efforts and advance the practice of optometry. Examples of research & / or data requests include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- Eye care workforce
- Access to eye care (including MUA/MUP, HPSA, FQHC)
- Insurance (Vision, Health, Medicare, Medicaid and CHIPs)
- Incidence and prevalence of diseases/disorders
- Dashboards and market share
- Private equity and large group information
- Patient care trends / insights
- Source verification/identification
