To access the Constituent Data Update List Demographics:
- Click the List screen task from the Constituent Preferences The Lists panel displays in the central area of CRM360® with the ability to filter existing comments and add new ones.
Search, Manage and View Existing Constituent Data Update List Demographics
Before you change any contact information in Personify, you need to check the existing comments on constituent data updates. In addition, if you question any changes to constituent data, you can find answers in the existing comments of constituent data update list demographics. Therefore, you must know how to search, manage, and review these records.
To Search, Manage, and View existing constituent Data Update List Demographics:
- Use the Filter section to limit the number of rows in the data grid below. Some records have multiple list demographic entries more than others.
- Select ‘Constituent Data Update’ from the Demographics drop-down menu to filter the entries to just record updates. Doing so helps narrow your view of the records displayed.
- Previous Comments (displayed on the right) correspond to each record selected in the data grid to the left.
- You can also see the type of change (i.e., the data a prior user changed) from the Sub-Demographics field and the date of the change reflected by the Begin Date.

Add New Constituent Data Update List Demographics
When you are ready to add a new comment to the CRM360® record about a new update to contact information, you’ll do so through the same List demographics screen. Make the necessary change to the record, then update the comments using these steps.
To add new constituent data update list demographics to a CRM360® record:
- Select the Add button on the left side of the screen. Doing so adds a new row to the data grid. You’ll see the fields on the right side of the screen become available.
- Select ‘Constituent Data Update’ from the Demographics drop-down.
- Choose a Sub-Demographic from the drop-down menu. You need to select an option that correlates to the changes made to the record: Address, Education, Email, License, Name, Other, Phone, or Relationship.

- If necessary, change the Begin Date to match the date you made the change. If other dates are involved, make sure to reference those in your comments.
- Add your Comments. Remember that your comments should include a brief description of why you made changes and how you obtained the updated data. We also appreciate you adding your Personify360® username for easy tracking.
