On a regular interval, Personify recommends invoicing your customers using the ORD660 batch/TRS job. This invoice can be generated in paper or via email notification. Learners will understand how to run the ORD660 job with the appropriate parameters to maximize their collection efforts.


The order specialist has many tasks to complete. Order specialists are the back office users of the inventory products module. Participants will learn how to create, maintain, inventory products orders using the order entry subsystem. Learn how to take payment for orders, update shipping and billing information, and process order exceptions. In addition, learners will also gain the tools and resources to apply discounts, adjust pricing, and manage inventory of products as needed.


Personify comes with several reports used in conjunction with tracking inventory product counts, the fulfillment process, and backorder processing. Participants will learn how to run, read, and analyze these reports using a variety of batch/TRS jobs, Webi reports, and online reports.


Accounting & Order Entry are both base subsystems within Personify which touch many additional subsystems. It's important before becoming an expert in membership, meetings, inventory products, etc. that you have a good understanding of how the accounting transactions and orders are used within Personify. Empower yourself with the knowledge of how transactions are applied to orders, as well as invoices are sent to members. Participants will also learn how to navigate the order entry screen in Personify and all its components.

AOA is transitioning its Intranet from its legacy system to the updated SharePoint platform! Join us for training to learn how to make simple changes to your department pages such as uploading documents, updating basic department information, and migrate existing content from your existing department pages to the new intranet. Learn how to navigate, and modify placeholder content.


Doctors of optometry can now join the AOA and an affiliate directly through the website. This is completed through the online join web application. These potential members, also known as provisional members, are crucial to the organization. Participants will have the tools and knowledge to assist these members through the online join process. You will learn how proforma membership orders are generated, how to work with notifications sent to new members and affiliate staff.


Trainees will learn how to pull reports and outputs from Personify based upon meeting registration sales, attendance to sessions and meal functions, and run reports which print badges, tickets, and invoices. The reports used will include batch/TRS jobs, webi reports in Data Analyzer, and canned online reports from the meeting subsystems.

Any group of constituents in Personify is considered a “Committee.” Learn how committees can be created, used, and managed within Personify. During this session, you will learn whom to manage the group as a whole and the involvement of each member. We will also discuss how to work with your committees as customers, as well as give you access to rosters and additional committee management tools.

As trainees start using Personify regularly, there is a requirement to reconcile Personify with your cash/bank account daily and our accounts payable systems monthly. This training will teach learners how to process monthly general ledger closes and run both batch/TRS job reports and online reports to assist with the reconciliation process.

Orders are the way that associations deliver membership, meeting registration, inventory product orders, digital download orders, and other goods and services to its members and non-members. We will cover the basics of how to create, manage, and pay open orders and ultimately let you get comfortable with the order entry screen in Personify.

Membership is a product in Personify, and you will learn how membership products are designed to function. This product is a service offered to constituents who which to be members of your association. A primary objective of this session will be learning the unique capabilities of membership products such as their start and end dates, fulfillment status, and more. We’ll discuss how to create, manage, and pay open orders in Personify.

Personify offers integration with three primary payment handlers, Verisign PayPal, CyberSource, and Vantiv, now Worldpay. Learners will understand how to use Personify to process credit card payments directly using one of these connections. During the session, we discuss how to store credit card information securely to CRM360 profiles for constituents, manage credit cards on orders, and automated payments, and working with credit cards through the online profile area. This course will also discuss the CCP610 batch/TRS job, which settles and reconciles credit card payments to your credit card processor.

Adapting Personify to your organization’s specific accounting processes can be daunting. Let’s host a 1-hour question & answer session with project management, finance, and Personify subject matter experts as to empower you when making decisions on how to start using Personify for your day-to-day processing for membership and set yourself up for success with future modules and integrations as needed.


Digital content delivery is the setup of intellectual property products in Personify, that are once purchased downloaded by the user on the web. Participants review the process to setup a new product in Personify using the digital content delivery subsystem in addition to setting the digital content controls associated with the products. Trainees will also learn how to create, maintain orders in Personify and work with digital content delivery products on the web.

Many times, members wish to pay their annual membership dues assessment on a schedule, whether it be monthly, semi-annually, or quarterly. Personify uses the concept of payment schedules for this functionality. This session will teach learners how to create, manage, and process payments on a payment schedule, whether using an automatic payment method such as a credit card or electronic funds transfer or for invoices.


Proficiency assessments are a great way to prove your mastery of the objectives for a training course! We encourage all users to take an assessment!


Join us for a multi-day workshop on the event and exhibitor modules within Personify360. This workshop will provide learners on how to use Personify as the primary AMS for meeting/event management. The workshop will facilitate any discovery and implementation of the meetings/events, facilities, subsystems within Personify. Learners should have a moderate understanding of how the accounting, order entry and customer subsystems within Personify along with established processes for each. This event will string together existing courses offered by the technical training & support team.

Personify uses the Batch/TRS system to handle significant processes in Personify, such as invoicing, automatic payment processing, payment import processing, renewals, etc. These jobs are used to update information in mass and provide an output when needed. Learners will become comfortable with the batch/TRS job submission screen and learn about applications the association will need to run.
